If you are looking for a lawyer in the Mercer County area
Call the Mercer County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service (LRS) at 609-585-6200 or complete this online form. In operation since the early 1960’s, the LRS has helped thousands of people find a lawyer to handle their legal problems. We make referrals in over 50 categories of law. Our service is approved by the American Bar Association for exceeding the ABA standards for the operation of a lawyer referral service. We were the first in the State of New Jersey to receive this high distinction.
How the LRS works:
- By telephone, the Lawyer Referral Service is open Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- You will be referred to an attorney who has asserted they practice in that area of law. Please note that while we do our best to connect you with an attorney with expertise in the area you are seeking assistance, the expertise of individual lawyers within a greater practice area may vary. If the lawyer we connect you with is unable to assist you, please call us again to be referred to another attorney.
- We guarantee confidentiality.
- Depending on the type of case, you will be charged only $25 by the attorney for the first half hour of the consultation. The reduced rate for the initial half-hour consultation includes conference and advice, but not the preparation of any documents. If further legal service is required, fee arrangements are made between you and the lawyer.
